Words of Wisdom for Caregivers
There are no words to describe the importance and value of the work caregivers do. Caring for someone with dementia is often times a challenging and painful task. The job of caregiving does not provide a material reward and many caregivers are left feeling abandoned and unappreciated. Thank you for everything that you do! We are thinking about you and are here to support you in any way we can.
A Prayer for the Caregiver
For your love, sacrificial, is God at his best.
You walk by faith in the darkness of the great unknown,
And your courage, even in weakness, gives life to your beloved.
Your presence, the knowing, that you are simply there.
You rise to face the giant of disease and despair,
It is your finest hour, though you may be unaware.
You are the caregiver and you have done well!
You are not Alone
Remember that you are not alone on this journey. Most likely and unbeknownst to you, you are an inspiration to family, friends and others. Our project team appreciates everything that you do. We are thinking about you and we are here for you!

We want to close with a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson- “It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life, that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”
